Daytona 500

Chet decided to have the guys over to the shop to watch the Daytona 500. Paul, Les and Andy made it. There was plenty of food and drinks for everyone. It was really quite the season opener. Very fun.

Just so happens it was also Paul's birthday. So, by race end Sharon and Melissa came with cake and presents in hand. Old family photos are always a good choice. I think Paul was pleasantly surprised. We all had a good time and the race was a good one too!

I made Chet a poster of one of his favorite Firebird moments. It hangs on the "Whimsical" wall in the shop with pride!

Wouldn't you know the '55 would go back in hibernation once this new toy found it's way into the shop? The '51 Henry J will take Lil' Red's place at Firebird this spring if all goes well. Stick around, we'll get the photo album up and running soon!
